Visit to kanya Gurukul-  a visit to an Arya kanya gurukul was made by few boys along with Interact Club  council & the teachers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan . The girls tied rakhis on the brothers hands and in return gifts were distributed to them.

ANTI CRACKER RALLY- There is nothing whacker then a loudy cracker, Say no to it.

Green revolution is the best solution to stop the pollution-A rally on SAVE ENVIRONMENT.

Our school conducts plantation drives regularly. Being the future citizens of the country, these drives are very important for the students to be sensitized on the issue of environment.

Earth Day

Celebrated on 22nd April 2017 with a motto,” Save Trees, Save Earth”. Various activities were performed by the students under the guidance of their teachers which helped them to get themselves aware about the ways and importance of conservation of natural resources. They did colouring, tearing &pasting, slogan writing, speech, poem recitation. Importance of water conservation was presented through a mime, concept of 5 R’s was given by the way of a nukkad natak. A rally was also conducted by the tiny tots in the school premise holding pla-cards written SAVE WATER, SAVE ENERGY, SAVE EARTH alongwith a hawan performed by the staff members.

INTERNATIONAL DAYS- we have incorporated many best practices for giving our students opportunities to explore global learning and international experience. One such best practice is the observance of International Days to make the students get valuable information and knowledge about sensitive global issues.

Celebrations for all times-Seasonal, National and Religious

Lohri- a popular winter time Punjabi folk festival which commemorates the passing of the winter solstice. It marks the end of winter season, and is a traditional welcome of longer days.

Holi- a festival of colours , enjoyed in an eco-friendly manner using organic gulal and flower petals by the tiny tots.

Learning outcomes of happy celebrations-patriotism , victory of the good –through independence Day, Republic Day, Dusshera, Diwali

Rakshabandhan- a festival to mark the bonding between brother and sister was celebrated by the juniors by tying the knots on the hands of the helpers of the school.

TEACHER’S DAY

Our school celebrates Teachers Day every year with great fervour and enthusiasm. This year too the same was celebrated by honouring the teachers by the members of BHARAT VIKAS PARISHAD. The students presented a cultural program to welcome their teachers. Each staff member was presented a rose bud and a greeting card.

EDUTAINMENT EXCURSION-

A journey to the rich cultural history of India-Gwalior. It is best known for being the birth place of the great musician Tansen . On the very first day we visited the Sun temple, jai Vilas Palace-the palace of Scindia family, a museum which was the part of the palace. After lunch we visited Man Singh fort-palace built by Raja Man Singh in the 15th century. In the fort premises there was Gujari Mahal , Bandichor Gurudwara , amphitheatre where the life history of Raja Man Singh was shown by a light and sound show. In the night we enjoyed dinner along with DJ party. The next day we left for Agra-a city admired worldwide for its architectural splendour and a fascinating place for art lover. The whole trip proved to be very entertaining and knowledge giving.

SANJEEVANI

Helping students stay healthy is a fundamental part of the mission of the school. Thus, School has started a project with the vision Health Education for students under the head Sanjeevani’. Awareness on personal hygiene, general cleanliness and lifestyle diseases is given importance.

This program has been initiated with zeal and focused motive of doing something special for the special learners at our school. Special classes after school hours have been arranged for the same.

SUMMER CAMP

Summer vacations are, in another way, an opportunity to horn certain life skills while having fun. Taking our commitment for children’s quality education and growth, school organised summer camp in its premises with activities like skating, judo, kho-kho, yoga, dance, art & craft, calligraphy & computer.
