In the month of February this year the school planned an activity based picnic to DEVA(Delhi eco Village & adventure) for a holistic development of the child. The activities at the camp were extreme fun to be a part of and were done under the continuous guidance of trained professionals in the field of adventure. Various activities were Wall Climbing, river Crossing, Rope Ladder. Commando Crawl, Potters Wheel, nature Dairy, Poultry, Leadership Games, Tug of war and many more, we were also served timely with various mouth watering delicacies followed by DJ Music Dance.


Located at an altitude of 1,938 mts. above sea level, Nainital derives its name from Naini Lake, a prominent tourist spot of Nainital. It shines as a glittering jewel in the Himalayan mountains and is surrounded with lakes and nature’s bounty. A group of 40, students accompanied by staff members went on this adventurous trip for 3days and 2 nights. The day started with a leisure time spent around the resort area enjoying the natural beauties of the surrounding area. Other destinations enjoyed along with the nature were Naini Lake, Naina Devi Temple, The Mall Road, Snow view point, China Peak, Jhula Devi Temple, Ranikhet Visit, golf Course, Kalika Temple, Shawl factory, Kumaon Regiment museum. Other fun activities enjoyed inside the resort area were DJ Dance Party , Bonn fire, various games like carom, Table Tennis etc.



Value education leads to success with an objective to improve the integral growth of human beings, to create attitudes and improvement towards sustainable lifestyle, to create awareness about national history our cultural heritage, community development and environment. Explicit value education is associated with those programmes that teachers or educators use in order to create learning experiences for students when it comes to value questions. Various activities taken up during this week were Quiz on Bharat ko jaano, Scrap Book on Great Arya Samaj Leaders, Shloka Recitation, Cord’n’ Blend jewellery Desgning, Hindi and English poem recitation, Enchanting of Mantras, Collage making, Character Dramatization, Hindi Skit and speech on Values. Special assemblies were held and each day the students of different houses explained different topics like forgiveness, punctuality, neatness, patience, honesty, helping others, truthfulness, hard work, health & hygiene and hardwork. The activities didn’t end up here, the tiny tots also added upto it, they performed various activities –pasting, story telling, presentation, relay race, skit, clay activity, yoga, group song to highlight the themes- peace, respect, responsibility, co-operation, honesty and unity.


5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher. Like every years this year also the day was celebrated enthusiastically in the school – it started with a hawan and carried on with the beautiful stage performances by the students. The teachers were honoured by the members of Bharat Vikas Parishad. On the same day Janmashtmi was also celebrated by the nursery wing with bhajans of Shri Krishna and dance performance by the little angels followed by Krishna Palki ceremony.


Sports Day was celebrated in the school on 28th August, to mark the birthday of Major Dhyanchand, the great Indian Hockey Player. Different types of races were conducted for the students of Pre-school to II. The students of classes III-VII participated in games like Kho-Kho, Judo, Chess and skipping. From classes pre-school to II different races were held:fruit race, colour race, hurdle race & step race.


This day brings the feeling of national integrity and patriotism in the heart of each and every Indian as on this day we got independence from the British. So, it is celebrated as a National Day with great pomp and show. Flag hoisting was done by respected Manager Sir Mr. G.R. Sawhney. The function started witha Rajasthani folk dance. A nukkad natak was on ‘Save Water’ was performed by the students of Pre-School. It was followed by a skit on Mangal Pandey and Rani Jhansi.  Tree Plantation was done by Manager Sir and Principal ma’am. The program ended with a motivational speech by Manager Sir which filled enthusiasm in our students.


All the sections of Pre-school, pre-primary & class 1 are now equipped with Air Conditioners. The school has also purchased a genset of 25 KV to provide continuous power at the time of electricity failure.


The school has been kept under a close surveillance of 16 CCTV cameras and 9 more are added to, in this session making it to 25.


The younger students of the school are trained to form a Symphony Band under expert conductor, thus adding a feather to cap in the school functions. 


The School was previously having 2 smart boards, with the module upto class II, during this session new additions were made(2 LEDs + 3 IDCE boards) making it to 7(with module upto class XII.3 more IDCE Boards will be installed by the end of this session.
